Global (Dis)Order and Development conference

Konferens

Brexit, Trump, Putin, Duterte, Islamic State, G20 protests - around the world and from multiple political angles the liberal global order that has defined development for decades is under challenge. Can the Paris Agreement on Climate Change survive? Is trade liberalisation a thing of the past? Will the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) be stillborn? What kinds of "re- globalization" strategies are available? What does, and can, "development" mean amidst this seeming global disorder?

Brexit, Trump, Putin, Duterte, Islamic State, G20 protests ¿ around the world and from multiple political angles the liberal global order that has defined development for decades is under challenge. Can the Paris Agreement on Climate Change survive? Is trade liberalisation a thing of the past? Will the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) be stillborn? Join us in Gothenburg on 6-7 November for rich debates on the futures of development.
