Marketing and Consumption

About the programme

The Marketing and Consumption (MAC) programme offers cutting-edge courses that focus on the role of marketing and consumption in a contemporary society: its cultural underpinnings, global dimensions and sustainability challenges.

The curriculum combines lectures by leading researchers in various marketing fields as well as application of theory on practical marketing problem.

  • A research-based platform for understanding and influencing contemporary marketing and consumption.
  • A strong sustainability focus that meets business needs.
  • A capacity to make a career in marketing management.

There are both general and programme specific requirements.

Programme specific requirements MAC

  • A minimum of 60 credits in Business Administration.
  • A minimum of 15 credits in Statistics (or 7.5 credits in Statistics and 7.5 credits in quantitative methods and/or Mathematics).

Career opportunities

The graduates have provided us with examples of their first job titles; marketing coordinator, media planner, marketing executive, trade marketing professional, transport manager. Almost 60% accepted a job before graduation.

Sustainability label

The MAC programme is labelled as a sustainability-related programme, which means that at least one of the learning outcomes clearly shows that the study programme content meets one of the current sustainability criteria.
