International Business and Trade

About the programme

The International Business and Trade (IBT) programme gives you a distinctive combination of training and knowledge about the functioning of multinational companies in the global economy.

The programme is carried out with a strong emphasis on real world examples and case studies from manufacturing and service companies, operating globally, based on both typical western and emerging market contexts.

There are both general and programme specific requirements.

Programme specific requirements IBT

  • A minimum of 60 credits in one of the following subject areas: Business Administration, Economics, Economic Geography or Economic History.
  • A minimum of 15 credits in Statistics (or 7.5 credits in Statistics and 7.5 credits in quantitative methods and/or Mathematics). 

Career opportunities

The graduates have provided us with examples of their first job titles; business analyst, customer service manager, buyer, area manager, financial advisor and consultant. 50% accepted a job before graduation and 100% were employed after six months.
