Activities within the Partnership Programme

The Partnership Programme of the School of Business, Economics and Law includes many different activities that are communicated to you as a partner. Here we present a short list of our concepts and activities and what they mean.

Partnership Programme - the School's collaboration with industry in the form of a programme with services for knowledge exchange. Its goal is to strengthen both the participating company and the School. The partnership between the company and the School is established with a three-year agreement, for either a Senior Partner or an Associate Partner; see below.

Senior Partner - The highest level of partnership. It offers, for example, an unlimited number of places at each Executive Seminar and places at our MeetingPoints. Senior Partner's Day is your opportunity to present, during one day, your operations to the School's students and employees. You also have access to Career Service's recruitment services and possibilities for presenting your organization to our students.

Associate Partner - The second level of partnership. As an Associate Partner you have, for example, two places at each Executive Seminar and access to Career Service recruitment services. All partner companies are given additional exposure at the School and on our website.

Career Service - The link between industry and students, and the place where you meet tomorrow's colleagues. Career Service is a valuable shortcut to recruitment, where we help you as a partner to advertise all types of open positions. If you are looking for students with specialized knowledge or a certain orientation, we help you with the contacts. Career Service also helps you to arrange company presentations, both with practical events and with information to the students.

Career Service for students - For students, Career Service offers inspection of CV's, career guidance, and advice and tips about career paths and working life. Career Service also provides and manages the career portal where we bring together full-time, extra and summer jobs (see below).

Career Service career portal - A database for the School's students that communicates open job positions, partner-company activities, and other career-related events. Students register their CV´s and gain access to all available jobs that exist in the career portal. The portal is a well-developed channel for directed communication with our students, which you as a partner share through the Partnership Programme.

MeetingPoints are industry specific one-day seminars on, for instance, HR and accounting. The content focuses on trends
and news within the industry, and among the lecturers are both researchers and professionals. Previous seminars include MeetingPoint Finance, MeetingPoint Controller, MeetingPoint HR and MeetingPoint International Business.

Executive Seminar - Our concept for inviting you as a partner company to obtain interesting knowledge during a lecture about two hours long. Executive Seminar has ample space for discussions and includes a subsequent lunch. Prominent Swedish and international lecturers, as well as leading portal figures from industry and the public sector, discuss and analyze topics that are relevant to companies and administration.

Alumni - All those who study at the School become alumni after completing their education. This Latin word means apprentices, but is also applied to former students. The School wants to maintain contact with former students through communication in, for example, newsletters and alumni meetings, as well as the alumni database on
the web which helps alumni to keep in touch with each other.

School of Executive Education - The unit for graduate education at the School of Business, Economics  and Law. Created in April 2007, the School of Executive Education offers tailor-made education and courses according to your organization´s needs, as well as open courses and programmes such as MeetingPoints and Executive MBA. It is available to both the private and public sectors. The School has provided graduate education to industry and the public sector for many years and, among other things, has held the Executive MBA programme for 30 years, which puts us among Sweden´s most experienced educators in the field.

Executive MBA - MBA stands for Master of Business Administration and is a further education in leadership and business. Its purpose is to broaden the knowledge of those who have already taken at least one Bachelor degree. Master of Business Administration (MBA) is an internationally recognized degree in industry. With an Executive MBA from the School of Business, Economics and Law, you grow as a person and a leader. The education is subject to charge, with a reduced price for partners.
