The Gothenburg University Library provides two databases for scientific publications from the University of Gothenburg.
GUP (Gothenburg University Publications) is a bibliographic database for registration of all scientific publications by researchers at the university. The database output is used for publications lists for departments as well as individual researchers. The data forms the basis for calculating statistics on research publishing and bibliometric analysis. The GUP database fills the requirements as an institutional repository for Open Access parallel publishing.
GUPEA (Gothenburg University Publications Electronic Archive) is a database for electronic publishing. It is a fulltext archive for dissertations, research reports, student thesis etc. The database also holds video- and audio resources.
GUPEA is freely available, open to the public, and search engine optimized.
